2.1 - Pre-Requisites
MuVOn requires the following:
- A linux distribution - yes it is Java but I just
have no interest in porting it to Windows at the moment. I imagine it
will run on the latter but the command called (like cp) dont exist so
it will not do anything really useful.
- Sun Microsystems
Java Development Kit 1.5 -
previous versions of the JDK should work as I dont think any code if
1.5 dependent but if it is let me know.
- Perl -
should come with your linux distribution.
- MP3::Tag
module - you can use MuVOn without this or Perl but you will not get
any MP3
Tag information.
